Q. What is the difference between an Organization Admin and Program Admin?
There are two levels of admins: Organization Admin and Program Admin.
Q. I no longer see the Analytics tab. Can I have this tab back?
We are unable to reinstate admin rights to the Organization Admin level.
If multiple members from the same institution request access for their respective student/faculty groups, Coursera accommodates by creating additional programs in the same organization instance, adding each requester as the Program Admin of their respective program, and changing any Organization Admins to Program Admins.
There are two levels of admins: Organization Admin and Program Admin. Organization Admins have access to the Users, Messages and Analytics tabs and have access to all data tied to all programs in the account. Program Admins have access to the Users and Messages tabs and only have access to the program they are administrator of. Should an Organization Admin’s institution request for more than one program, Coursera will update the Organization Admin’s permissions to Program Admin level where they will continue to have access to all data associated with the program they requested. This change is made in order to protect student data.
We are working on making the Analytics tab available to Program Admins in the future.
Q. My institution submitted a request to gain access to a program and I haven’t heard back. When can I expect to receive a follow-up?
Our goal is to bring Coursera for Campus instances live as quickly as possible. Depending on the volume of requests, we will have built a prioritization queue that accounts for the level of impact the organization is feeling because of the virus.
Q. I am a Coursera for Campus non-partner. Am I able to add a new learning program to my instance?
Admins are allowed one program each. When your instance was created, Coursera’s Implementations team created a program for your account. Currently, there is not an option to create a new program in the admin portal.
Q. Is there more information you can provide regarding the Coursera for Campus initiative?
