When navigating to the Users homepage you will find the Administrators sub-tab. This sub-tab is comprised of the following features:
- As an Organization-level Admin
- Adding and removing Organization Admins
- Adding and removing Program Admins
- As an Program-level Admin
- Adding and removing Program Admins
ORGANIZATION-LEVEL ADMIN
Add and remove Organization Administrators
Organization Administrators (Org Admins) are admins who have full administrative rights to all programs within their organization's Coursera instance.
These admins can add or remove other admins of their program at any time. Org Admins can:
- Add learners to all learning programs
- Remove learners from all learning programs
- Access learner data in all learning programs
How to add an Org Admin
To add an Org Admin:
- Click Add Organization Administrator
- Enter the email address of the new org admin
- Confirm if you would like to send an invitation email to the new org admin. The email will include a personal link to the instance informing the user that they have been added as an org admin. Note: the option to send an invitation email is enabled by default. If you choose not to send an invitation email, a modal will appear with the program link to share with the new org admin. The program link is necessary to share with the new org admin in order to allow them access to the program.
- Click Add Organization Administrator
How to remove an Org Admin
To remove an Org Admin, select the trash icon associated with the Org Admin. A pop-up window will appear to verify removal. Click Remove Organization Administrator.
Add and remove Program Administrators
Program Administrators (Program Admins) are admins who only have administrative rights to specific programs.
How to add a Program Admin
To add a Program Admin:
- Click Add Program Administrator
- Enter the email address of the new program admin
- Select which learning program(s) the new program admin will have administrative rights to
- Confirm if you would like to send an invitation email to the new program admin. - Uncheck the boxes of the program(s) you want to remove the person’s access from under Program Access.
