How do I know which SkillSets to select?
SkillSets are a good fit if you have a challenge around content curation or driving discovery of relevant content. We recommend choosing teams and roles who have the greatest impact on creating business value. Work with your Implementation Manager and Customer Success Manager to understand which SkillSets are a fit for your learning programs.
What can I customize or configure in a SkillSet?
We know that sometimes skills, levels, and job titles are named differently across different companies. As of the first release (February 24, 2021), you will be able to customize the title and descriptions of SkillSets. You will not be able to customize the skills or levels in a SkillSet until a future release planned later in the year. If you would like to change skills or target proficiency scores, please reach out to your customer success manager or implementation manager.
Can I filter SkillSets by the language of the content (recommendations)?
SkillSets are designed to make it easy to deliver relevant, job-based content to your employee base. As of the February release, we do not offer the ability to filter SkillSets by language. Coursera content does come in multiple subtitles and the majority of our content is available subtitled in ten languages including Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian, and Arabic. Your learners will be able to switch on subtitles per content. As we learn more about what skills and roles are in demand, we will consider adding more filtering functionality.
Can I integrate SkillSets with my LMS?
SkillSets are a standalone learning experience today designed to match learners with relevant content. We recognize that many companies deliver learning opportunities via a LMS, and are working to make SkillSets and SkillSet tracking compatible with major LMSs. These improvements are planned for later in 2021.
